Lighthouse Photography Studio is committed to offer not just high-quality photos, but also hard to find, extraordinary images. We love photography! Here are a couple of photographic techniques: Digital Infrared Also known as the technique to photograph the invisible. IR portraiture is strange, surreal, very different, out of this world. It eliminates virtually all blemishes, spots and skin imperfections, creating a ghostly, porcelain-skin effect that some people desire. The foliage and the clouds turn white, the sky becomes black. What might be boring viewed normally, could be surprisingly spectacular in Infrared.
HDR (HDRI) High-Dynamic Range Imaging is another technique that gives us the opportunity to create absolutely stunning images. HDR is new ground, and HDR portraiture is even newer. One of the descriptions of HDR is "seeing more like the human eye". It captures a very wide range of brightness levels ranging from direct sunlight to the deepest shadows. Spectacular images are created by using this cutting-edge photographic technique.
Panoramic – 360 degrees – Planet Panoramas These wide view images are extremely popular and often requested. They look great in the digital albums and in various sizes framed prints. Panoramic photos are popular not just in event photography, but in real estate as well. Regular panoramas, planet panoramas, 360 degrees panoramas - we know them all.
Photomosaic About.com defines Photo Mosaics as “pictures made up of many smaller pictures. The small tile images can be seen up close, but at a distance, an entirely different image can be seen. Photomosaics are also referred to as photo montages, photo-tiled pictures, and photo tapestries.” It's fascinating and very appreciated. Super Wide-Angle and Fisheye Lens Photography This is a territory of breathtaking imagery. Using these special lenses, we can shoot incredibly wide angle photos. Incredible vistas, one-shot panoramas, outstanding angle coverage.
These advanced photographic techniques can be part of your event photography custom packages or as a separate service.
